CHOSEN
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” Ephesians 1:4 NIVUK
Can you recall a time in your life when you were not the first one chosen? Not the second or even third? I remember a time when I was usually the last one chosen for dodgeball at recess. My small frame, big floppy red-hair, and slow reflexes were not the traits the captain of our dodgeball team was looking for. Maybe you were the first one chosen every time. Your talent, smarts and natural ore-disposition to success made you the obvious choice. Neither our lack of talent or our overflowing bag of personality are the reasons He chose us to be holy and blameless. He chose us because He formed us in our mother’s womb, He loves us and wants us to experience the fullness of life that is only possible as children of God.
CONSIDER

We are chosen IN Jesus. What attitude can you demonstrate today that will keep you grounded in Jesus?
Because you are “chosen” how will you leverage it to add value and benefit to another?
