There’s a certainty we need about what Jesus said regarding the arrival of the Indwelling Holy Spirit. Not only are we to be certain of Jesus’ promise, but we are also to adopt and embrace the Holy Spirit. Pentecost Sunday is the arrival of God and Him indwelling in people, so that we might be supernaturally enabled to push back darkness and overcome injustice.

Pentecost is the arrival of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus, so that our fragile lives might be filled with His presence. One characteristic of this reality is that the Holy Spirit reminds us over and over that God is good.

Continuing to explore the reality that we earthen vessels, described as jars of clay that are filled with God’s Spirit, we examine more characteristics of our relationship with the Holy Spirit.
