Shepherding is not a modern metaphor for leading, but it’s a metaphor that is central to the Christian faith because Jesus describes Himself as the Chief Shepherd. Therefore, it’s important that we learn how to lead the way Jesus leads. In doing so, what we learn is that - leading like a shepherd first requires us to think like a shepherd.
